Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo (born 11 February 1997), known professionally as Nasty C, is a South African rapper, songwriter and record producer. He gained recognition after releasing his mixtape Price City in 2015 which included the hit single “Juice Back”.
After releasing two mixtapes and an EP, he released his critically acclaimed debut album Bad Hair (2016) and Strings and Bling (2018), which was associated with and supported by his first tour, The Ivyson Tour.
He was the youngest to receive an award at the 2015 South African Hip Hop Awards i.e. Best Freshman.
After the death of his mother who was involved in a fatal car accident, at age 11 months, he moved to Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal, to be raised by his father, David Maviyo Ngcobo, human resources manager.
Nasty C has an older brother, Siyabonga Ngcobo, who influenced him to rap while learning the basics of producing music from him when he was nine. Nasty C attended Strelitzia High School in Lotus Park, Durban, where she completed her 12th grade.
At the age of fifteen, Ngcobo released his first mixtape One Kid, Thousand Coffins on May 14, 2012. He then released his debut EP L.AME (Levitation Above My Enemies) on April 4, 2014.
On February 10th, he released his second mixtape, Price City, which was successful “Juice Back”, highlighted his presence. "Juice Back" later spawned a remix produced by Gemini Major featuring singer Davido and rapper Cassper Nyovest on November 20, 2015.
On June 1, 2018, Ngcobo released two singles, "Jungle" and "King", featuring American rapper A$AP Ferg, from his second album Strings and Bling. [20] Strings and Bling was released on July 6, 2018, both digitally and physically.
In September 2019, he released “God Flow” with crowned rapper Yung, the lead single from his third studio album Zulu Man With Some Power.
